All the jewelry on our website is handmade in America by individual studio artists. The quality of our jewelry is of the highest standards. Because each piece is handmade, there will be natural variations and subtle differences between the pieces including stone or pearl color. There is a very limited supply of some pieces and many are one of a kind. At MUSE, we value these variations as they allow for the human touch to be seen and appreciated. We pride ourselves on the fact that nothing we carry is mass produced or the product of unfair labor laws.

We offer an extensive jewelry collection in our store that is not yet available for purchase online, however we will updating our online store continually over the next few months.

Due to the handmade nature of our jewelry, the piece you ordered may be backordered. If this is the case, we will contact you with an estimated ship date for that piece. In most cases, the piece will ship within three-four weeks. If you do not want to wait for the backordered piece, you must cancel your order within 24 hours of notice that it is backordered to receive a complete refund. Please do so by emailing us @ sales@musejewelryboutique.com or calling us at 401-289-2150. If you do not contact us to cancel the order within 24 hours, it will ship to you as soon as it is in stock.



Payment

We accept PayPal as well as Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover. Please note that you Do NOT have to have a PayPal account to place an online order with us; just click on Continue under Don't have a PayPal account to use your credit card.

No Sales Tax

Since we are located in Warren, Rhode Island, a state designated Tax-Free Zone for art, there is NO SALES TAX applied to any purchases.

Shipping

Orders totaling $100 or more (before shipping) ship for FREE!
All other orders will be charged a flat shipping and handling fee of $8.00 per address.

All orders placed Tuesday through Friday for in-stock items are processed and shipped the next day. Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday and Monday will be processed and shipped on the following Tuesday. All orders are shipped via Priority Mail which takes 2-4 business days within the contiguous United States. If you wish to expedite your shipment, please email or call us to choose Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, or 3 Day Select . Please call for international shipping.

Protecting your privacy is extremely important to us. We will NEVER share any of your information with other parties. EVER.

Gift Wrap

If you would like an item to be gift wrapped, please send an email to; sales@musejewelryboutique.com to request this. We offer beautiful complimentary gift wrap which includes your purchase in a MUSE box with our signature silver wrapping paper and teal bow. If you do not specify gift wrapping, your piece will come in a custom MUSE box.

We are always happy to work with you on a custom order. One of the best things about working with individual artists is bridging the gap between our talented jewelers and the public. If you would like a slight modification of an item seen on our website or have an idea for a piece you'd like created for you, please email us @ sales@musejewelryboutique.com or call us @ 401-289-2150 and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Many pieces shown in Sterling Silver are also available in 14K or 18K gold upon request. All special orders require a 50% deposit at the time of order (balance to be paid at time of shipment) and are considered final sale and are not returnable or exchangeable.

Return Policy

Your complete satisfaction is very important to us. If you are not happy with any item you have purchased online, you may return it to us within 14 days of receipt. Sale and special orders are FINAL SALE . The item must be shipped to us in the original packaging, in pristine condition and prepaid via insured mail. C.O.D. deliveries are not accepted. We will credit you for the amount of the item minus the return shipping charges.

Refunds generally appear on you credit card statement in one to two billing periods. Since all our online orders require credit cards as the method of payment, your refunds will take the form of a credit back to the same card used to make the purchase.

JEWELRY CARE

Sterling Silver

All sterling silver, unless treated with a coating, will eventually tarnish. Exposure to air naturally oxidizes silver and it cannot be totally avoided. Keep tarnishing to a minimum by storing silver jewelry in a plastic bag or jewelry box.

For shinny silver, tarnish can be removed with a soft polishing cloth and periodic washing in warm soapy water and drying with a soft cloth. (MUSE sells jewelry polishing cloths for $4.00)

For a matte (or brushed) finish on silver use VERY FINE steel wool to gently awaken the surface.

Black sterling silver (or oxidized silver) needs no cleaning other than an occasional rinse with mild soap.

Gold/Gold Filled

Remove gold jewelry before showering or bathing and please avoid chlorine as it can permanently discolor gold.

To clean gold, use an old toothbrush and mild soapy water. Rinse with warm water and air dry.

Gemstones

Rub the stone with a clean, soft, slightly damp cloth.
Avoid saltwater and chemicals as they will erode the polished surface of the stone.

Pearls

Pearls are very delicate gems. Store them separately in a cloth bag or wrap them in tissue.
Do not wear your pearls while bathing or showering, swimming or playing sports.
Put pearls on last to avoid contact with hairspray, cosmetics or cologne. Clean with a soft, damp cloth.
